The aluminum fins of the condenser of the Mitsubishi Heavy YYP series air conditioner will be coated with a blue anti-corrosion layer called bluefin. Bluefin in air conditioning is a technology that uses an epoxy coating (hydrophilic water-resistant) on the surface of the aluminum fins of the condenser to protect them from corrosion, rust, dust and water. This helps the air conditioner better respond to environmental conditions near the sea due to the corrosive properties of salt and water vapor.

As is known, one of the causes of damage to the condenser of the air conditioner is that the aluminum material is easily affected by corrosive agents such as water vapor, acid and sea salt, especially the condensers used on ships, floating restaurants, and houses in coastal areas. To avoid this situation, all condensers of Mitsubishi Heavy air conditioners use a heat exchanger with copper pipes, and the new YYP series is coated with a layer of Bluefin, increasing durability and efficiency.
