Use process
Step 1: Open the return air panel: Place your fingers on the corners on both sides of the panel and pull the panel forward so that the panel is opened at an angle of about 70 degrees.
Step 2: Remove the return air panel: The user opens the return air panel at a 90-degree angle and then pulls it forward to remove the return air panel.
Step 3: Remove the filter screen and clean it with water. Note to use gentle water pressure.
Step 4: Install the filter screen as before.
Step 5: Install the return air panel: Insert the return air panel's arm into the slot on the front panel as described below, hold the panel at both ends of the lower part, gradually lower the return air panel down, then gently push it up until the latch closes.
Step 6: Close the return air panel: Push both corners of the panel evenly and press a little more lightly in the middle.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries recommends that you do not perform maintenance and cleaning of the air conditioner yourself without expertise because this can easily affect the machine's performance, even cause damage and reduce the machine's lifespan. However, for the filter cleaning part, users can regularly clean the air conditioner filter at home every 3 months. For air conditioners with a "self-cleaning" feature, users should clean and dry the air conditioner's condenser to prevent mold every few months.
Depending on the intensity and frequency of operation of the machine to decide the maintenance time of the air conditioner, the periodic maintenance time is about 3 - 6 - 12 months. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries recommends that users should call a maintenance technician to clean the entire machine and check the operation of the machine, including detecting problems such as gas leaks, electrical leaks, stagnant water causing rust in the body of the machine... As for cleaning the filter, users should regularly clean the air conditioner filter at home every 3 months.
